Common Questions
“What if the new belief doesn’t feel true or believable?” This is completely normal! When you’ve held a limiting belief for years, its opposite often feels foreign or false at first. Start with a replacement thought that feels at least somewhat believable rather than its complete opposite. As you practice, you can gradually strengthen the new belief.
“How often should I practice this technique?” For optimal neural rewiring, practice both in dedicated sessions (like today’s practice) and in real-time situations when you notice limiting beliefs arising. Consistency is more important than duration—brief, regular practice creates stronger neural pathways than occasional longer sessions.
“What if I forget to use the technique when triggered?” Self-compassion is essential here! Neural rewiring takes time, and it’s natural to fall back into old patterns, especially in challenging moments. If you notice this happening, simply acknowledge it without judgment and remember that each time you do remember to interrupt a pattern, you’re strengthening this new skill.
